what i want to get out of music practitioners?
i want at least a pass and a good understanding on how to play different instruments and be able to play to a variety of songs not just the ones that i can do now. and I want to be able to stay in time with the songs and not get distracted.

My Musical Image
For the type of music that I will be playing on stage, I have researched what artists in the pop music genre dress like. Some examples of male artist clothing is:
For the event, I think suitable dress will be: a plain t-shirt, with a casual dress shirt over the top, I will wear dark chinos and smart trainers. This is representative of a mixture of the above artists and will look smart for the charity event music performance.

health and safety
health and safety.
for drums
if you have sensitive ears you might want to put some headphones in if you want to play loudly.
make sure that all the drum kit is properly so they don't fall apart or of the drum kit. make sure that your drum sticks don't have any bits of wood that are sharp on them because you might cut yourself.
for guitar
make sure that all the strings are tight so that if one breaks it will not hit you and cut you or hurt you.
make sure that the jack is working so when you are playing it dosent stop working.
for band rehearsals: you need to make sure that the volume on the amps so they don't hurt your ears and make sure that there are no leads on the Floor so you don't trip over them and make sure that you don't leave bottles of water near them.
Volume loudness and hearing damages for you have sensitive ears then you need to have headphones on or just don't play that loud.
Taking regular breaks you should take regular breaks when you are playing otherwise you can get to hot and bothered
Drinks do not leave water open near the insterments

drumming technique
1. hold the drumstick in the write position.
2. when you hit the drums make sure that you don't hold the drumstick to hard because it will have a bit of a bounce so you are ready to hit the next beat.
3. make sure that all the drum kit is within reach from where you are sitting,
4. make sure all the kit works properly and nothing is loose.
5. make sure all the pedals work and if they don't then replace them with ones that do work.
6. if you are practicing and you back starts to hurt get of the drum kit and then go lie down for a few minutes till the pain goes ad if it doesn't go just take some pain killers.

new beginnings
we started off with two people in our group me and keir livingstone and then we joined groups with mya and anya and now keir and mya have left the school keir has moved house away from the school to be near his family and mya has left to go to another school. so that only leaves me and aya in an a group and anya is on piano. but i don't think we will work together i think that now that mya has gone she will want to work on her own, so i think i am going to be on my own on the drums. but that is ok for now but it will be a problem when it comes to performing because i get stage fright but i guess that this will help with it a bit.
